Abstract

The article presents the results of a comprehensive clinical and immunological examination of 178 children with various variants of post-COVID syndrome (Long-COVID and chronic post-COVID syndrome — CPCS). It was established that CPCS in children is characterized by severe bronchopneumonia (often with interstitial involvement, pronounced neurological symptoms, and hypothermia), multiorgan pathology, and an aggravated premorbid background. A significant decrease in post-vaccination immunity to measles and a 6.6-fold increase in seronegative individuals compared to healthy children were revealed. Correlation analysis demonstrated a strong inverse relationship between high levels of IgG to SARS-CoV-2 and a decline in measles antibody titers (r = −0.991; p < 0.01).
