Abstract

This article analyzes modern views, etiology, and etiopathogenetic mechanisms of chronic cerebral ischemia. The main risk factors contributing to the development of the disease, as well as the relationship between chronic cerebral circulatory disorders and neurodegenerative processes, are discussed. In addition, information is provided on the clinical course of the disease, modern diagnostic methods, treatment, and preventive approaches. The results of the study are important for the early detection of chronic cerebral ischemia and for developing effective treatment strategies.
