Abstract

This scientific paper explores the methodological and didactic potential of teaching English based on the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) model in Uzbek-medium classes of general secondary schools. The study substantiates the importance of integrating digital technologies, pedagogical methods, and subject content to overcome linguistic interference arising from typological, grammatical, and syntactic differences between Uzbek and English. It presents a step-by-step lesson structure, the use of interactive educational platforms and artificial intelligence tools, methodological recommendations aimed at improving students’ communicative competence, and a sample lesson plan. The paper also analyzes ways to improve the quality of education through rapid formative assessment and digital resources, as well as approaches to developing teachers’ TPACK competencies.
