Abstract

The article develops a competency-based methodology for teaching specialized agricultural subjects through Smart Agriculture technologies. The main problem is the gap between demonstrating digital tools and developing students’ ability to use those tools for authentic agricultural decision-making. A competency model is proposed that includes technological literacy, data literacy, agro-technological analysis, decision-making and digital communication. Case studies, project-based learning, digital portfolios, feedback and rubric-based assessment are integrated into a single methodological cycle. No fabricated experimental statistics are presented; instead, the structure of the model and a design for future empirical testing are justified.
