THE FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT STAGES OF THE HISTORY MUSEUM OF PAXTACHI DISTRICT OF SAMARKAND REGION

Abstract

This article scientifically examines the establishment, organizational formation, and stages of development of the History Museum of Paxtachi District in Samarkand Region. The study analyzes the museum’s origins as a school-based local history circle, the construction of its dedicated building, the formation of its exposition, enrichment through archaeological finds, restoration during the years of independence, and the reconstruction process. It is shown that artifacts from Dabusqala, Zirabulak, Qutirbulak and other sites form the core of the museum’s collection, and the institution’s place within the system of the Samarkand State Museum-Reserve is highlighted. The results confirm the museum’s cultural and educational significance in preserving and promoting local historical heritage.
