Abstract
This article examines the life and creative activity of the outstanding writer Sergey Petrovich Borodin, who made a significant contribution to the development of historical fiction. Special attention is paid to his historical novel “Dmitry Donskoy” and the epic “Stars over Samarkand”, dedicated to the era of Amir Temur. The study highlights the writer’s literary heritage, his research work, and his role in popularizing the history and culture of Central Asia through artistic literature.
