Abstract
This article comprehensively analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations of ensuring information and psychological security in the political communication system. Within the framework of the study, new threats and risks arising in the context of modern transformations of political communication, the expansion of the digital environment and the globalization of information flows are studied on the basis of a systematic approach. Also, the interrelation of the categories of information security and psychological stability, the mechanisms of their influence on political consciousness, social opinion and public mood are theoretically substantiated.
