Abstract
This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state of policies aimed at ensuring gender equality within the governance systems of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The study examines the institutional and legal foundations of reforms implemented in this area, the priority directions of state policy, and their practical outcomes. Furthermore, a comparative analysis of gender equality indicators is conducted based on official national statistical data as well as reports from international organizations, including the United Nations, the World Bank, and the World Economic Forum. The research highlights achievements, existing challenges, and future prospects for strengthening gender equality and inclusive governance in both countries.
