Abstract

This article discusses the pedagogical and psychological foundations of speech development in children with mild intellectual disabilities. The causes of speech development difficulties, ways to overcome them, and effective methods used in special educational institutions are analyzed. The article also highlights the importance of speech therapy sessions, didactic games, and communicative activities in improving children's speech skills.
