Abstract

This article discusses the theoretical foundations and methodological principles of the structural-semantic modeling of phrases. It examines the relationship between structural and semantic modeling and analyzes the distinctive features of constituent-structure and dependency models. The study also presents a comparative analysis of the structural-semantic models of English and Uzbek phrases, highlighting the role of valency, semantic roles, and syntactic relations in linguistic modeling.
