METHODOLOGY OF ANALYZING LITERARY WORKS IN THE RESEARCH OF QOZOQBOY YO‘LDOSHEV

Abstract

This article examines the scholarly and theoretical views of Qozoqboy Yoldoshev—a prominent figure in the development of modern Uzbek literary studies and literary education—regarding the analysis of literary works. The scholar's perspectives on the essence of literary analysis, its aims and objectives, principles of approaching literary texts, and analytical methods are explored through works such as “Badiiy tahlil asoslari” (Fundamentals of Literary Analysis), “Yoniq so‘z” (The Burning Word), and “So‘z yolqini” (The Flame of the Word). Furthermore, the article highlights the necessity of comprehending a literary work not merely in terms of its content, but also through its aesthetic nature, poetic structure, national spirit, and artistic integrity. Finally, the article provides a scholarly synthesis of the distinctive features of Qozoqboy Yoldoshev’s methodology for literary analysis.
