BAKHSHI FESTIVALS AND THEIR CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE

Abstract

This scientific article analyzes the formation process of bakhshi festivals, their place in the epic folklore system, their role in shaping cultural identity, and their transformation under globalization based on the IMRAD methodology. Bakhshi art is considered one of the oldest forms of oral folk tradition in Central Asia, revealing its social, aesthetic, and spiritual functions. The study highlights the importance of festivals in preserving national culture, educating youth, and strengthening international cultural integration.
