Abstract
This article analyzes cognitive biases in decision-making processes and their psychological foundations. It explores the nature of heuristics, confirmation bias, availability heuristic, and anchoring effect, as well as their influence on human thinking. Based on the scientific perspectives and experimental studies of Kahneman and Tversky, Simon, and Damasio, the mechanisms of decision-making are examined. The findings indicate that the development of critical thinking and metacognitive skills plays a crucial role in reducing cognitive biases.
