Abstract
This article examines, from a scientific and theoretical perspective, the significance of the level of self-esteem and the process of reflection in the constructive resolution of conflict situations among young people. In contemporary society, various social, psychological, and interpersonal conflicts frequently arise in the lives of youth, and the effective resolution of such conflicts largely depends on the individual’s internal psychological resources. In particular, a stable and adequate level of self-esteem helps young people correctly understand their own capabilities, maintain emotional stability, ensure balance in communication, and develop a rational attitude toward conflict situations. At the same time, well-developed reflection enables an individual to analyze their feelings, behavior, decisions, and communication process, recognize mistakes, understand the causes of conflict more deeply, and reach constructive solutions. The article discusses low, high, and adequate levels of self-esteem, as well as the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral aspects of reflection and their manifestations in conflict situations. In addition, the study substantiates the role of these psychological factors in developing constructive communication, self-regulation, empathy, compromise, and social adaptation among young people.
