Abstract
The paper presents and evaluates the concept of a single-seat compact economical electric vehicle equipped with a universal quick-swap module interface mounted at the rear. The techno-economic assessment was performed using the authors' EMKALK 1.0 computational tool with 2026 electricity tariffs and fuel prices of Uzbekistan. The per-kilometre running cost is 43–73 UZS for the electric drive versus ≈480 UZS for a petrol analogue; annual savings reach 3.4–5.0 million UZS at 8,000–12,000 km/year, with a 15-million-UZS price premium recovered in 3.0–4.5 years. Installing a 40 kg module increases the calculated energy consumption by no more than 14 %. The results confirm the economic feasibility of the modular concept for courier services, small businesses and farms.
